Just a reminder of some forthcoming events.

SFX WEEKENDER where I’ll be signing books and taking part in the following panel:

SCIFI LEGENDS: 10.15am/ Saturday 4th February (where panel members discuss who they think
has made the greatest contribution to the genre).

And then it’s off to the CARDIFF COMIC EXPO on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February to launch my latest novel, FEVER and take part in the following panel:

HORROR IS DEAD: 4.15pm/ Saturday 25th February (With the growing popularity of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance in recent years, and many Crime/ Thriller books embracing a more graphic approach to storytelling, as traditional horror become redundant?)

I’ll be moderating that one, with Robin Furth (Dark Tower comic series and researcher for Stephen King), Emma Barnes, (Snowbooks MD), John Shackleton (filmmaker, known for the recent PANIC BUTTON movie amongst others) joining me.

I guess the panel description is self-explanatory, really: we’re thinking not just of literature, but filmmaking too. I’ll be keeping it all very informal and chatty, with loads of audience
participation. This recent chat between horror vet Shaun Hutson and I on the matter might get you thinking on some of the issues that could come up for us…

Hope to see some of you there!
